FIELD TRIPS / CARNIVAL DAY

WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE SOME ADDITIONS REGARDING SUMMER CAMP ACTIVITIES.
Band program / sports clinic will meet 3 times per week for 2 hours each day. An additional fee of $60 per week will be added for each week selected. Space is limited!
These special activities will be led by the ILS Band Director and High School Coaches in the respective field.
No previous music experience needed!
The Band program will allow early opportunities for campers to learn Brass instruments (including Trumpet, Trombone and Tuba) or Woodwind instruments (like Clarinets and Flute). There will be a Drumline portion where campers learn basic rhythm and marching techniques!*
*This activity will happen outside.
Ages 8-10 will play on beginner instruments.
Ages 11-13 will be playing on equipment equivalent to their middle and high school standards.
The Band Program will be led by Armando Alicandu. Mr. Alicandu is the Band Director at
Immaculata-La Salle as well as the Co-Director of the non-profit, the Miami Wind Symphony Honors Academy. He works with students ranging from beginner to early professional and this shows through the diversity of the MWS Honors Academy as well as the early success of the ILS Band.
The basketball clinic will consist of an hour of skill development and drills to help kids understand the fundamentals of the game, followed by an hour of games 3 on 3 or 5 on 5 (depending on the number of kids).
The basketball clinic will be led by Derrick De La Grana. Coach De La Grana is a NBA Player Development Coach and the Head Coach at Immaculata- La Salle High School. He works with players of all levels including high school, college and NBA players.
FLAG FOOTBALL CLINIC
The flag football clinic will focus on multiple skills needed for various sports. The first hour we’ll be working on proper technique for all levels of football. These include proper running form, throwing and catching. In addition, we’ll work on skills to help with coordination, balance, agility, speed, explosiveness and other proper muscle movement and functions. The second hour we will focus on the rules of the game through play such as 4v4 flag and 7v7 flag.
The football clinic will be led by D’Andre Mickens, Assistant Head Coach of Immaculata La-Salle. Coach Mickens played three years of football at Immaculata La-Salle High School and went on to play college football at Adrian College in Michigan. He has five years of coaching experience at the high school level and has coached with multiple coaches at the college level.
The soccer clinic will focus on developing ball mastery, passing and receiving, 1v1 moves, speed of play, and finishing. Concluding each session by putting all together with group play.
The soccer clinic will be led by Dilenia Gomez, Assistant Head Coach for the Immaculata-La Salle girls soccer team.

Before and after care are available for an additional charge.
BEFORE & AFTER CARE POLICY
Regular Drop-Off is from 7:45 to 8:15am.
* Before care from 7:00am-7:45am is charged at $5 per day.
Regular Pickup is from 3:15pm to 3:45pm.
* After care from 4:00pm-6:00pm is
charged at $10 per day.
* Pickup after 6pm will result in a
charge of $1 per minute.
* After care will not be prorated.
WHAT TO BRING
* Fun Days By The Bay strongly encourages all children to wear hats and sunblock.
* Wear closed toed shoes.
Insurance coverage is provided through the camp and is included in the registration. Since most campers are covered by family insurance, the camp does not assume responsibility for any medical expense.
